Connect your Outlook (no-code walkthrough)

Send Karibu outreach from your own Outlook / Microsoft 365 mailbox. Setup involves Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) — fiddly menus, but no waiting period.

Why you need this

For the same reasons you'd connect Gmail — inbox placement and reply rate are 3-5× higher when mail comes from you@yoursafarico.com than from a shared sending domain. If your business runs on Outlook / Microsoft 365 instead of Google, this is the path.

Current status

Outlook connect is live
The full Outlook send-from-your-mailbox flow is available now. Head to Settings → Mailboxes and click Connect Outlook to grant access via Microsoft — Karibu never sees your password, and the access token is encrypted at rest and revocable anytime from your Microsoft account. The steps below cover any Azure / Entra prep your admin may need first.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A Microsoft 365 / Outlook account you control
  • Admin rights on that account — or someone who has them on standby
  • ~15 minutes uninterrupted
  • A password manager or notes file to temporarily hold the credentials

  1. Open portal.azure.com and sign in with the Microsoft 365 / Outlook account you want Karibu to send mail from.

    Personal Outlook accounts work too
Even if you use a free @outlook.com address, you still sign in to the same Azure portal — Microsoft auto-creates a tenant called "Default Directory" behind the scenes the first time you log in.
