What the wizard sets up
When you first sign in you’re dropped into “Set up Duma, your AI sales agent” — a focused, four-step wizard. Its whole job is to collect the minimum Duma needs to start working: where to send from, who to reach, what to aim for, and how you sound. Your answers are saved as you go, so a refresh or re-login resumes exactly where you left off.
The four steps
Follow along in the wizard — this tracker mirrors it.
What happens on finish
When you finish the last step, Karibu does four things in one go:
- saves your ideal-client prompt as a standing drip search;
- stores your vertical and voice samples on your company profile;
- creates your active goal (goal type, monthly target, and daily drip);
- queues Duma’s first overnight run, so contacts and drafts are ready by morning.
Then it sends you to your dashboard.
What it does NOT ask
The wizard deliberately does not ask you to hand Duma the keys. Your cold-opener dial starts at review and reply autopilot starts in its safe default, so the first thing Duma produces is drafts for you to approve — never autonomous sends. You raise those dials later, on purpose, once you’ve watched a few drafts.
